"Update: I’ve seen the response from the agent. I understand Oklahoma UM laws, and that wasn’t the issue. The problem was the lack of communication when my vehicle was changed and the attitude I received when I asked about it. No one reviewed the change with me or informed me that my UM coverage didn’t carry over. The finger-pointing in the conversation is what led to this review. Long-time customers deserve clear communication and professionalism, and that’s what was missing here. I had State Farm through this office for years and everything changed when I switched cars. Months later I found out my uninsured motorist coverage had been removed without anyone informing me. This coverage was already on my previous car and should have transferred unless someone told me. No one did. When I asked about it, the agent gave me attitude and started pointing fingers at me instead of taking responsibility. No apology and no ownership, just “check your declarations page.” That’s not how you treat long-time customers. Because of the poor communication and the finger-pointing attitude, I can’t recommend this office if you want an agent who handles coverage properly and communicates clearly."

Our goal is always clear communication and accurate coverage guidance, especially for long-time customers like you. I do want to clarify one important point regarding Uninsured Motorist (UM) coverage in Oklahoma: by state law, UM coverage is automatically included on every policy unless the customer signs the official state-required form rejecting it. Because of this, coverage cannot be removed or omitted without that signed rejection. Even when vehicles are changed, UM remains in place unless the customer has completed the opt-out form. That said, we should have ensured you felt informed and supported when we reviewed your coverage and discussed your policy changes. If our communication felt anything less than helpful, that is not the experience we want for you, and I sincerely apologize."

I can't stress enough how Rachel helped us with our insurance overload with another company! She worked for days to help us with all our insurance needs. Plus we have more insurance coverage with less premium rates! We now use State Farm for our home & vehicle insurance. When you're on a foxes income every little bit of money saved really helps.
